Nordic Thingy:53™是一款非常易於使用的物聯網原型建構平臺。它讓無需搭建定製化的硬體就可以建構原型和概念驗證成為可能。Thingy:53圍繞我們的旗艦雙核無線系統單晶片nRF5340搭建而成。其雙Arm Cortex-M33處理器的處理能力和記憶體容量使其能夠直接在裝置上執行嵌入式機器學習(ML)模型。

nRF Edge Impulse應用讓使用者可以透過移動裝置將他們的Nordic Thingy:53連接到Edge Impulse Studio賬戶。它允許使用者透過低功耗藍牙將感測器資料無線傳送到移動裝置上,並將其上傳到雲端進行訓練,然後將訓練好的機器學習模型下載到Thingy:53進行部署和推理。該應用還充當GUI,用於檢視執行的機器學習模型的推理結果。

低功耗藍牙(Bluetooth LE)無線裝置允許透過低功耗藍牙更新韌體和通訊,還支援其他協定,如藍牙mesh、Thread、Zigbee和2.4 GHz專有協定。Thread協定的相容性還使得它在為新的Matter生態系統開發產品時成為一個很好的選擇。Matter使用Internet Protocol (IP)作為網路層,它是一種用於家庭互聯應用的標準化應用層。

Thingy:53還配置許多不同的整合感測器,如環境感測器、顏色和光線感測器、加速度計和磁力計,所有這些都可以在不需要額外硬體的情況下使用。它採用一塊容量為1350 mAh的可充電鋰電池供電,可以透過USB-C介面充電。此外,還有一個外接的4腳JST連接器,相容硬體配件的Stemma/Qwiic/Groove標準。

每一個Thingy:53都預裝有韌體,可以與安裝在iOS和Android平臺上的nRF Edge Impulse應用相容使用。與Thingy:53一起發佈的還有nRF Programmer 應用,用於直接藉由移動裝置無線更新裝置韌體。
