Event information

As the year draws to a close, we hope you will all have a chance to enjoy a well-deserved break during the Christmas season. The Nordic IR team would like to thank you all for all the valuable discussions and interactions through 2025 and look forward to continuing an engaging dialogue in 2026.

Nordic Semiconductor will release its Q4 2025 earnings report on Thursday 5 February 2026 and enters its regular quiet period on 12 January 2026.

As communicated on 13 March 2025, Nordic Semiconductor has discontinued the practise of hosting pre-close group calls and limits its communication ahead of the quiet period to pre-close comments such as this document. These pre-close comments are being published on the company’s IR web and do not contain inside information.

Nordic Semiconductor would like to remind analysts and investors about certain publicly known factors from our previous financial reports and earnings calls which might be relevant to consider ahead of the Q4 report:

In the financial report for the third quarter 2025, the company issued a revenue guidance range of USD 155 - 175 million for Q4 2025 with a gross margin above 50%. Nordic Semiconductor also reiterated its long-term ambition to maintain a gross margin level above 50%.

Nordic Semiconductor reported revenue of USD 179 million in the third quarter 2025, representing a year-on year growth of 13% and an increase of 9% from the previous quarter. The year-on-year reflects Nordic's continued strong competitive position.

The total number of new Bluetooth LE designs certified by the Bluetooth SIG was 395 in the third quarter, of which 124 featured Nordic Semiconductor components. These numbers continue to show Nordic Semiconductor as a clear market leader in terms of product certifications, with 3-4 times as many certified designs featuring Nordic components as any competitor.

Note that product certifications with Nordic Semiconductor components so far mainly reflect nRF52 Series and nRF53 Series products, as currently less than 10% of the certified products are built on nRF54 Series products.

Nordic Semiconductor continued to advance its next-generation ultra-low power wireless platform in the third quarter with the launch of the nRF54LM20A, a high-memory SoC in the nRF54L Series designed for demanding applications in smart home, gaming peripherals, and industrial automation. The device reinforces Nordic’s leadership in ultra-low-power wireless connectivity and positions the nRF54L Series as the foundation for future-proof IoT designs.

Nordic Semiconductor completed the strategic acquisition of Memfault and the purchase of the IP of Neuton.ai in the quarter and successfully raised net USD 103 million in new equity financing replacing bridge loan taken in connection with acquisitions.

Following speedy integration of the acquired businesses, the company already in September launched a new “nRF Cloud powered by Memfault”. This is a chip-to-cloud lifecycle management solution that gives all Nordic Semiconductor customers out-of-the-box access to essential cloud infrastructure, device monitoring and over-the-air device upgrading.

The revenue and margin developments through the first nine months of 2025 supported the long-term financial ambitions presented in 2024; to deliver average annual revenue growth above 20% for the Group through the decade and to move towards the target operating model profitability level of ~25% EBITDA margin within five years.
